REFUND POLICY

KnowingNahiyan LUT Library sells digital products supplied electronically, including downloadable LUT files, LUT packs, installation guides and related digital materials.

Because our products are digital and cannot be physically returned, different cancellation and refund rules apply from those that apply to physical goods.

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATIONS FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you will ordinarily have a statutory 14-day cancellation or withdrawal period for an online purchase of digital content.

However, where you request immediate access to your digital product before the end of that period, you may lose that cancellation or withdrawal right once supply of the digital content begins.

Before immediate digital delivery begins, you will be asked to:

  • expressly consent to supply of the digital content beginning immediately; and

  • acknowledge that, once supply begins, you will lose your statutory right to cancel or withdraw from the contract.

Where you have provided the required consent and acknowledgement and your digital content has been supplied or made available for download, we do not generally offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind, no longer want the product, or have decided not to use it.

If the legally required consent or acknowledgement has not been obtained, your statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights may continue to apply.

BEFORE DOWNLOADING

Please review the product description, compatibility information, previews and before-and-after examples carefully before purchasing.

Our LUTs are digital colour-grading tools, and their appearance can vary depending on factors including your source footage, camera or device, colour profile, exposure, white balance, editing software, workflow and display settings.

A difference between your own footage and the example previews does not, by itself, mean that the product is faulty or not as described.

FAULTY, CORRUPTED OR INCORRECT DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Your statutory rights are not affected by the loss of a change-of-mind cancellation right.

If the digital content you receive is:

  • corrupted or unusable;

  • materially different from the product you purchased;

  • missing files that should have been included;

  • not as described;

  • not of satisfactory quality;

  • not fit for an applicable purpose that was made known to us; or

  • otherwise does not conform to the contract,

Where appropriate, we will first try to resolve the issue by providing assistance, a replacement file, a corrected download or another suitable remedy.

Where applicable consumer law entitles you to a repair or replacement and that remedy is impossible, cannot be provided within a reasonable time, or would cause significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.

DOWNLOAD OR DELIVERY PROBLEMS

If you have successfully completed your purchase but:

  • have not received your download email;

  • cannot access the download link;

  • received an incomplete download;

  • received a corrupted file; or

  • believe you received the wrong product,

please contact knowingnahiyan@gmail.com and include your order number and the email address used for your purchase.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide the correct files.

Please also check your spam or junk email folder before contacting us.

ACCIDENTAL OR DUPLICATE PURCHASES

If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once, contact us as soon as possible at knowingnahiyan@gmail.com.

Where we can verify that substantially identical duplicate purchases were made unintentionally, we may provide a refund for the duplicate purchase at our discretion, subject to any applicable legal rights.

This does not create a general right to refund correctly supplied digital products after digital delivery has begun.

SOFTWARE AND DEVICE COMPATIBILITY

Compatibility information is provided on our product pages and/or supporting documentation.

You are responsible for checking that your editing software and device support the relevant file format before purchasing.

We do not generally provide refunds where a customer purchases a product for software, hardware or a workflow that was clearly identified as unsupported before purchase.

This does not affect your statutory rights where compatibility information provided by us was inaccurate or misleading.

SALE OR PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS

The same statutory rights apply to discounted, promotional or sale-priced digital products as to full-price products.

A reduced price does not remove any rights you may have where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

However, where your statutory cancellation or withdrawal right has been validly lost following immediate digital delivery, sale or promotional products are also generally non-refundable for change-of-mind reasons.

  • your name;

  • your order number;

  • the email address used for the purchase;

  • the product purchased;

  • the nature of the problem; and

  • screenshots or other information that may help us understand the issue.

We may ask for reasonable additional information where necessary to investigate your request.

APPROVED REFUNDS

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be issued to your original payment method.

We will process approved refunds without undue delay. The time taken for the funds to appear in your account after processing may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

UK AND EU CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

For UK consumers, rights relating to digital content include protections under applicable consumer law where digital content is faulty, not as described, not of satisfactory quality or not fit for an applicable purpose.

For EU consumers, applicable national laws implementing EU consumer-protection rules may provide additional mandatory rights.

If there is any conflict between this Refund Policy and a mandatory consumer right that applies to you, the mandatory consumer right will prevail.
